The Logitech Harmony Hub is a device which connects to your Bluetooth appliances and can also emit infrared (abbreviated to IR) signals. Using these connections, you can create events or routines to turn on your TV, Stereo, and cable box with one button press. Adding the Harmony Hub to HS3 then allows combinations such as turning on your living room light to also turn on your TV

Adding a new Hub

  1. After navigating to Plugins > Harmony Hub > Add New Hub, read step 1 on that page and click Continue.
  2. Step 2 outlines that XMPP must be enabled on your Harmony Hub. This can be completed from Menu > Harmony Setup > Add/Edit Devices & Activities > Remote & Hub > Enable XMPP in the Harmony app. Next, click Continue.
  3. Enter the IP address of your Harmony Hub. This can easily be seen by connecting to your router and checking its connected devices. You should see a device labeled Harmony Hub HarmonyHub. Click Continue after entering the IP address.
  4. As step 4 finishes, the plugin will finalize its setup. Click Finish to go to your Devices page and test controlling your Harmony Hub from HS4!
