Add a Camera Widget to the Dashboard

This article will show you how to add a camera widget to your HomeSeer Mobile dashboard.

On Android:

From the Cameras section of the app, you can tap the three-dot menu button in the top right after tapping a camera, which will open a small menu giving you two options to add the device to your dashboard:

• Add to Dashboard: Selecting this will bring you to the New Widget page, where you can select the name of the widget, the dashboard you want to send it to, and whether the widget will display a timestamp or not.
• Quick Add To Dashboard: This option adds a device to your dashboard immediately. The only option to choose from is which dashboard to add the widget to, if you have more than one.

You can also long-press the desired camera to see the options above.

On iOS:

From the Cameras section of the app, you can tap on the name of a device, which will bring you to the Device Details page. Here, you can tap the three-dot menu button for a device, which will open a small menu, giving you two options to add the device to your dashboard:

• Add to Dashboard: Selecting this will bring you to the New Widget page, where you can select whether the name of the camera and a timestamp will show, as well as the dashboard you want to send it to and the size of the widget.
• Quick Add To Dashboard: This option adds a camera to your Dashboard immediately. The only option to choose from is which dashboard to add the widget to, if you have more than one.

You can also long-press the desired camera to see the options above.

Note: Camera widgets will update every 5 seconds.
