Add a Device to Dashboard

This article will show you how to add a device to your HomeSeer Mobile dashboard.

On Android:

From the Devices section of the app, you can tap the three-dot menu button for a device or long press its name, which will open a small menu giving you two options to add the device to your dashboard:

• Add to Dashboard: Selecting this will bring you to the New Widget page, where you can select what does and does not display using the check boxes on the right. You may also select which dashboard the widget is added to and rename it.
• Quick Add To Dashboard: This option adds a device to your dashboard immediately. The only option to choose from is which dashboard to add the widget to, if you have more than one.

You can also long-press the name of your device to see the options above.

On iOS:

From the Devices section of the app, you can tap on the name of a device, which will bring you to the Device Details page. Here, you can tap the three-dot menu button for a device, which will open a small menu, giving you two options below to add the device to your dashboard. You can also long press the name of the device to access these options.

• Add to Dashboard: Selecting this will bring you to the New Widget page, where you can select what does and does not display using the check boxes on the right. You may also select which dashboard the widget is added to and rename it.
• Quick Add To Dashboard: This option adds a device to your Dashboard immediately. The only option to choose from is which dashboard to add the widget to, if you have more than one.
