Manage Locks

Information on using the Z-Wave Plus Manage Locks feature

Overview

The Mange Locks feature allows users to remotely created, edit and delete door lock codes using HS4.

Steps

1. Ensure that the door lock has been added to your HS4 system. If not do that as described here: Add Device

2. Navigate to Plugins > Z-Wave Plus > Manage Locks. A list of your locks and existing user codes should appear. If no codes display, click the RELOAD CODES button at the bottom.
   

   

Creating New Codes

1. Click the NEW LOCK CODE button.

2. Open the User menu and select a User code ID number.

3. Enter the desired Lock Code.

4. Enter an Alias for the person or group you wish to share the code with.

5. Click CREATE to save the code.
   

   

Editing Codes

1. From the door lock code list, click the edit button for the code you wish to change.
   

   

2. Edit the Lock Code and Alias, then click SAVE.

Deleting Codes

1. From the door lock code list, click the delete button for the code you wish to remove.
   

   

2. A warning will appear. Click YES to delete the lock code.
