Becoming a Developer

Below are instructions to get set up in our plugin submission portal. Here you will be able to manage your plugins and submit new ones to the updater. If you have questions regarding the plugin portal, your plugins, development or just to introduce yourself, please email updater@homeseer.com.   

• Navigate to https://plugins.homeseer.com
• Click Register and use your email address as your username and create a unique password Must be at least 8 characters Alphanumerical, At least one special character
• Confirm registration via email. Once confirmed, you may log-in.
• Read through and accept the License Agreement
• Fill out your profile by clicking Profile. Display name will show up as the ‘Provider’ in the updater listings. All other information will be for contact in the case there are issues with your plugin.
• If you have no plugins listed, clicking Products will bring you right to the submission form.
• Going to User will allow you to change your account password.
