Restart Interface
Information on restarting your Z-Wave interface.
Overview
It can happen that Z-Wave interfaces end up in a bad state and need to be restarted. A restart function is built in so that your interface can be turned off and back on in a single interaction.
Navigation
Access the Manage Interfaces page from Plugins > Z-Wave > Advanced Functions
Procedure
- From the Advanced Functions page, select Restart Interface in the drop-down menu, then click Continue.
- Click Start, then the system will log the actions performed while restarting your interface and move along to step 4 once it is complete. Press Details to review these logs if you like. Click Finish and you will be returned to the Devices page.
Notes
- If restarting your interface not complete successfully, please contact support and provide the log entries seen after clicking Details. Please attach these log entries as a .txt attachment to your ticket.
