Send an Email or Text Message

Overview

This action is designed to send an email or text message when an event is executed. The action may be accessed by selecting  Send an Email from the action group menu.

Sending Text Messages

Most mobile service carriers provide an easy way to convert emails to text messages. Typically the address includes the customer's cell number followed by a special email domain. If you wish to do this, please check with your carrier to determine what your text email address would be. Here are a few popular examples:
